World Youth Day (WYD) is an international event organized by the Catholic Church, uniting young people from all over the World who are Catholic, as well as from other denominations of faith. The event is presided by the Holy Father and it occurs every two or three years. This biggest gathering of young people in the world goes to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this year on July 23-28, 2013. Cubao-Philippines will be their to welcome the Pope together with the youth of the world. www.mycubao.org will cover the event.
